The 'Spin' paintings, made in 2009 for the PinchukArtCentre, are a celebration of colour, motion and chance. Created by splattering paint onto a spinning canvas, they symbolise the chaotic and random nature of life. Hirst's intention was to challenge the traditional methods of painting, focusing on chance and the physical act of creation, leading to unique and unpredictable results.
